Aerial Mustering

They say home is where the heart is, and that could not be more true for us and our team.

Our Chief Pilot Weldon grew up living and breathing all things to do with cattle and life on the land, and has never had job that doesn’t involve cattle his entire life! This infectious passion for cattle and cattle handling is also shared by our strong team of mustering pilots whom also have a great passion and deep understanding of the cattle industry and life on the land.

They say if you work in a job you love you’ll never feel like your going to work, and we all love nothing more than seeing a days work of mustering all go to plan.

At Fortescue Helicopters we strive to seek and engage the very best pilots in our industry, whom have a strong passion for the cattle industry. To quote our Chief Pilot “Graziers and producers whom are our customers, hire us to muster cattle not fly helicopters. Our services are generally one of our customers largest annual expenses and therefore it is vital to ensure the pilots we supply are first and foremost cattleman, whom understand this and work with the customer to ensure efficient and effective cattle management on their properties”

We provide our mustering services throughout WA from 80 mile beach / Sand Fire south, including the Pilbara, Gascoyne, Carnarvon, Murchison, Goldfields, and Southern Agricultural regions. We have several bases throughout these areas to ensure we can service all of our valued clients with a minimum of travel time.

We are dedicated to providing efficient and effective cattle management solutions for our customers.

Please do not hesitate to contact us and let us know how we can help you.

Weldon has spent over 15 years flying helicopter and fixed wing aircraft in Northern Australia and has a lifetime of experience in the cattle industry. Whilst FMG is an important client of ours, we wish to make clear and transparent for all of our trading partners that Fortescue Helicopters is not affiliated, associated or connected with Fortescue Metals Group Ltd or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates. We proudly share our business name which comes from a key landmark throughout our local landscape the Fortescue River.
